Visa Requirements

Tourist Visa

  • Valid passport with at least 3 months validity from the date of intended travel along with the original previous passport (if any)
  • Completely filled and signed visa application form
  • 2 latest passport size white background photographs with face close up (do not staple the photograph)
  • Covering letter from the applicant stating name, passport number and the purpose of travel.
  • Latest original personal bank statement for the last 6 months and ITR of last three years.
  • With 80% face coverage, non-smiling [without glasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background and not previously used in a visa
  • Personal Covering letter (addressed to Embassy of Belgium) with mentioning duration of visit, purpose of visit, expenses clause .Details of all Applicants with name, passport number, If Applicable
  • Overseas travel insurance with the minimum coverage of EUR 30,000 for the entire duration. 
  • Confirmed Return Ticket (or ticket with Live PNR) , covering all the sectors
  • Confirmed Hotel as per the ticket (with hotel Name, Address, Telephone no and Email. Id
  • Copy of Pan Card.
  • Personal updated bank statement for last 3 months with bank seal and sign.
  • Personal ITR of last 03 years
  • For student- leave letter / report card issued from School and ID is required.
  • If the applicant is sponsored - proof of sponsorship and/or private accommodation by completing a national form of the Schengen State concerned (seethe website of the Member State of destination)
  • If the applicant is retired- Proof of retirement, pension statements for the last three months; - proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business.
  • If applicant is travelling for honeymoon then Marriage certificate or Marriage Card and Engagement /Marriage Photograph (Fresh ones i.e. NOT used earlier for any visa) are required.
  • If minor is accompanied by one parent/travelling alone shall provide a NOTARIZED NOC from other/both parents with their passport copy.
  • BIOMETRIC MANDATORY for all Applicants W.E.F. 02-Nov-2015. (Please see instructions below)

Business Visa

Document Required

  • Original passport with at least 3 months validity from the date of intended travel along with the original previous passport (if any) 
  • Completely filled and signed visa application form
  • 2 latest passport size white background photographs with face close up (do not staple the photograph)   
  • Covering letter from the applicant stating name, passport number and the purpose of travel
  • Invitation letter with the complete address and the contact details of the Inviting company
  • Latest original personal bank statement for the last 6 months and ITR of last three years
  • Overseas travel insurance with the minimum coverage of EUR 30,000 for the entire duration 
  • Return Ticket and hotel reservation voucher
